NydTiden

NydTiden is a spare time project that I work on whenever I have the time and something interesting to say/write. In here I will post some of the projects I do and updates on what is going on around me.

Most of the posts will be plugged on Twitter, so go follow me there, to get all the updates:

On the site you will find many different posts and projects, ranging from short stories to crafting and programming.

You can see the different categories in the menu in the top of the page, to find what speaks to you.

Most of the posts will be my experience with the topic or project in question, but sometimes there might be guides or featured posts, with other formats.

It is important to note that the site is written by one person, and will always be the only one viewpoint. There is no claim that this site tells the truth, as it reflects the opinion of the author only.

The site may be updated regularly, but may also go stale at times. Check in once in a while, to see if anything new has popped up.

Me

My name is David and I’m 27 years old. I am a software developer, currently looking for work.

I graduated as a Computer Scientist from UCN in January 2017.

I spend a large part of my spare time on Scouting; mostly as a scout leader.
I enjoy working with the young scouts and teaching them new skills and values. I also spend some time planing courses and other scouting events, both in my local scout group and with others.

Some of my other hobbies include working with paracord, outdoor activities, programming, bench watching Netflix/HBO and drinking craft beers. Most of these will also be reflected on this side, in various ways.

My motivations to keep this site up and running are two main things:
Firstly to have a website, and manage that, because everyone should have a personal website, right?
Secondly to have a place to share all the projects and stuff that I do, because sharing is fun.

If you want to know more about me or the site, feel free to contact me on my contact page, where you can also find links to all my social media pages.

If you don’t know where to start, try your luck with a random post.
